Fun word: Exoplanet

I’m reading a book on astrophysics (this makes me sound smarter than I am :)). and one of the words in it (that I had to look up, along, with many, many other words) was exoplanet.

I had no idea what it was. I’ve heard of an exoskeleton, which is like a motorized armour you wear (kinda like a stripped down version of Iron Man.) I figured it was unlikely that an exoplanet was a planet around another planet.

An exoplanet is (drum roll please!) is: an extrasolar planet, that is, is a planet outside our solar system that orbits a star.

Interesting but not as much as picturing a planet like a Kinder Egg that contained another planet inside as the surprise toy.
